When looking at new media in advertising, which is something we will have to consider in our Kickers communication strategy, I found this Mintel report
'Advertising and Marketing in New Media - UK - October 2009'.
It talks about how online advertising is growing rapidly and consumers are buying more online. It's a highly influentional media
and Kickers should capitalise on the trend as well as using its 'rebellious' and 'cool' nature to communicate the Kickers brand personality.
Key Analysis: The opportunity for online advertising is that more adults are coming on-stream, and spending more time online every year. However, time spent does not equal engagement, which is an area of ever-increasing importance for brands that are looking for more measurable returns on their investments. The digital advertising world is working hard to establish universal metrics enabling clients to do so. -Mintel
